Our goal in creating The Carnival of Financial Camaraderie was to provide a collection of articles that everyone can benefit from on a consistent basis. While things can get competitive amongst certain subsets of bloggers, everyone we have met so far has been friendly and helpful. When issues arise everyone is quick to lend a helping hand. We are a part of the Yakezie Challenge and it has been a great experience. The camaraderie between financial bloggers is a great thing to have, and it inspired our Carnival.
To submit an article to The Carnival all we ask is you keep it somewhat related to the theme of our website which is to provide information to students and young adults that will benefit them. You can use the blog carnival to submit your entries or click here. Check out some of our earlier carnivals.
Hosting
We planned on running The Carnival for a year, and opening it up to other financial bloggers who are wanting to host it after that, but in true camaraderie- based spirit, we have been flooded with requests to host The Carnival and we’re going to start taking requests to host it by year-end.
A Few Rules Apply
- Please link back to the previous Carnival, as well as the host website of the next Carnival edition, as this will help bring awareness to other authors.
- You’re welcome to add a theme to the Carnival or do an “editors picks” section, feel free to add any style you want to it. Make it unique!
- You’re responsible for filtering spam and duplicate entries.
- Your site should also be at least 6 months old, and post 2-3 times per week.
Its fairly simple to do, so far it takes me an hour or two to get a carnival set up and formatted correctly.
